Auto Sales

AI for auto sales, in plain English.

The wins here are speed and follow-up: answering leads in seconds, writing honest listings, and keeping shoppers warm. The tools below are the ones dealers actually use, grouped by what they help you do. Every spec, price, and finance number an AI writes has to be true and checked. That is not optional in auto.

  • Write a truthful vehicle listing

A clean, appealing listing built only from the real details you give it.

Beginner About 2 min ~110 words
Write a used-vehicle listing description for a car on my lot.

Start by asking me for the real details on the vehicle: year, make, model, trim, mileage, the features it actually has, and any condition notes. Wait for my answer before writing anything.

Then, using ONLY the facts I gave you:

    Structure:
    1. A headline: year, make, model, and one standout real feature.
    2. A short description paragraph.
    3. Three or four bullet highlights pulled from the details.

    Rules:
    - Never invent trim, mileage, features, options, service history, or condition. If a detail is missing, leave it out.
    - No exaggerated claims and no pressure language. Honest and appealing.

    Then:

    Structure:
    1. A warm opener that answers their question using only facts I gave you.
    2. An invitation to come see or drive it.
    3. An easy prompt to reply.

    Rules:
    - Do not quote a price, payment, or APR unless I gave you the exact number.

  • Explain financing in plain English

A clear, honest explanation of a finance term, with no made-up numbers.

Beginner About 2 min ~100 words
Explain a car-financing term to a shopper in plain english.

Start by asking me which term needs explaining (for example: APR, down payment, term length, gap coverage). Wait for my answer before explaining anything.

    Then:

    Structure:
    1. One plain sentence: what it is.
    2. Why it matters to the shopper.
    3. One simple example.

    Rules:
    - Six to eight sentences total, no jargon.
    - Do not state any specific rate, payment, or figure unless I gave it to you, and do not imply an approval or a credit decision.
    - General education, not an offer.

  • Follow up with a shopper who went quiet

A low-pressure nudge that reopens the conversation.

Beginner About 2 min ~90 words
Write two short follow-up messages (text length) to a shopper who went quiet.

Start by asking me which vehicle they looked at (year, make, model) and where we left off: the last thing we talked about or the step we stopped on. Wait for both before drafting.

    Then:

Make them a sequence, not repeats:
    1. A warm nudge tied to the vehicle and where you left off.
    2. A friendly last touch with an easy reason to reply.

    Rules:
    - Low-pressure. Never use "just checking in."
    - No invented pricing or promises.

Start safely

01

Truthful descriptions only

AI will happily invent trim levels, features, and history. Use only real specs and verify the listing against the actual vehicle. Inaccurate advertising is an FTC and state-law problem, not just a bad look.

02

Never fabricate specs or history

If you do not have a detail, leave it out. A guessed option or a wrong odometer reading in writing is a liability.

03

Payment and APR language must be accurate

Do not let AI state a rate, payment, or "as low as" figure it made up. Finance and lease advertising is tightly regulated (Truth in Lending, FTC). Every number is confirmed by your finance office before it goes out.

04

AI does not approve credit

AI can explain financing in general terms, never imply an approval, a rate, or a credit decision. Those come from the lender and your F&I process.

05

Protect customer data

Do not paste a customer's personal, credit, or license details into public AI tools. That data belongs in vetted, contracted systems.
