Facebook posts made from your real work.

Your Facebook Page filled in and kept current.

  • Captions written the way you talk
  • You approve each post before it goes up
  • The same posts on your Google listing

Facebook favors the photos only you have.

Facebook gives the most reach to Pages whose posts are mostly their own. Reposts and borrowed photos get shown to fewer.

So we build your posts from what you already have, like your finished jobs and the questions customers keep asking.

Keeping the Page going is our job, so it doesn't go quiet the month you get busy.

What We Handle for You

  • Your Page cleaned up

Profile picture, cover, About section, hours, and an automatic reply for messages.

  • Posts from your own photos

The jobs you finish and the people who do them, never stock photos or another business's work.

  • Captions in your voice

Written the way you talk, with customers tagged once they've said yes.

  • A steady schedule

So the Page never sits quiet for months at a time.

  • On your Google listing too

The same posts on your Google Business Profile, where people find you on the map.

  • A monthly look back

What people commented on and shared, and what we'd post more of next month.

Tell us about your business, and we'll tell you what your Page should post first.

How One Post Came Together

A post from our own Facebook Page, about a website we built for Pathway to Self. Yours would start from your own work.

  1. Start From Real Work

The Pull a Card section of the Pathway to Self website on a phone, seven cards fanned face down

A finished job, a new hire, or a question customers keep asking. Here, it was the card draw on the home page of a site we'd just launched.

  2. Made for the Feed

The GeekThangs Facebook post for Pathway to Self: the headline "Pathway to Self has a new website" over lavender, with the site on a monitor and a phone

Sized for a phone screen, in the business's own colors, with nothing cut off.

  3. Written Plainly

    GeekThangsThe post's caption

Danielle Rempala of Pathway to Self offers tarot and oracle readings, Reiki sessions, and life coaching.

Danielle brought on GeekThangs to build her new website.

Who it's for, what's new, and where to see it. The business is tagged, so the post links to its Page.

  4. On Google Too

The same Pathway to Self post laid out wide for the Google Business Profile

Each post also gets a wide version for the Google Business Profile, with a button back to the website.

From Page Access to the First Post

Most of the work is ours. Your part is the photos and a yes on each batch.

First, we look at your Page

What your Page shows a stranger today, which local businesses in your trade get comments and shares, and what they post to get them.

When to Start Somewhere Else

Not the right fit if there's nothing to photograph and nobody to send us a picture. The posts are made from your real work, and without it they turn into the stock-photo posts people scroll past. And if you need new calls this month, start with paid ads: posting builds over months, and an ad reaches new people this week.

Not sure which one you need? Tell us the problem and we'll say which one fixes it.

Common Questions

Do I have to give you my Facebook password?

No. You add us to your Page from your own account, with access to post and to see how posts do. You stay the owner, and you can take the access away whenever you like.

Where do the photos come from?

From you: the jobs you finish, your shop, your crew, and customers who've said yes to being shown. Send them from your phone as you take them. We don't use stock photos.

How often will you post?

As often as your work gives us something real to show. We set the schedule with you at the start, and it stays steady from month to month.

Do you post anywhere besides Facebook?

Yes, your Google Business Profile. Each post goes there too, with a button back to your website, because that's the listing people see when they look you up on the map.

What if we don't have a Facebook Page yet?

We set one up with you, under your own account, so the Page belongs to the business from day one. Then it gets the same setup as any other Page: photos, hours, the About section and the automatic reply.

Tell us where your Page stands.

Send the link to your Facebook Page, or tell us you don't have one yet. We come back with what we'd fix first.
