A ground-up home builder working across Livingston County, and a homepage that lays a drawing sheet over a house they finished.
The hardest thing about a builder's website is that the product cannot be brought to the reader. The finished houses are sold and sitting on private lots, so most builder sites fall back on renderings and stock photography, and a reader can tell.
Everything on this one is real. The photographs are one house Kozdron Homes built, shot when it was done: the rooms, the porch, and the lot from the air. The homepage puts that house edge to edge behind the headline, lays a front-elevation drawing sheet over it, and the drawing draws itself in as you arrive.

- The homepage elevation is not an image file. It is drawn in code, which is what lets it draw itself.
- A palette off a drawing set: graphite and slate for the structure, warm oak on the buttons
- Gallery captions name what is in each photograph, and the facts beside them keep to what the photographs show

The homepage opens on proof. A house Kozdron Homes finished fills the screen behind the headline, and across it lies a drawing sheet where a front elevation draws itself in the order a drawing set is read: the grade line, the walls, the roof, the garage wing, the openings, and the dimension lines last. A screenshot cannot show the movement. On the live page, the elevation draws in over the first few seconds.
The image makes the argument before any copy is read. The drawing sits over the finished house, and the same two people are responsible for both. The rest of the site says the same thing in words: who runs the job site, who designs the houses, and what the six steps in between look like.
