A reader's site with a card to pull

Tarot and oracle readings, Reiki and life coaching, online over Zoom or in person at GVST Wellness.

Each service has a page of its own that says what a session is like, how long it runs and what it costs. Every page ends the same way: email to book, and she replies with her availability.

Her two monthly groups meet at GVST Wellness, so the Classes page sends people to GVST's own schedule for the dates rather than keeping a second copy of them.

The Homepage Deals a Card

A reading is hard to describe to somebody who has never had one, so the homepage lets the visitor try a small version.

  1. The Pull a Card section on a phone, with seven cards fanned face down over the Flower of Life

    Seven Cards, Face Down

They deal out onto a cloth printed with the Flower of Life, the same pattern as the cloth on her reading table.

  2. The same section after a tap, with the Wheel of Fortune card turned face up

    One Turns Over

Pick one and it turns over to a Major Arcana card.

  3. Under the card, what the Wheel of Fortune stands for, a question to ask yourself, and the Book a Reading and Draw Again buttons

    A Meaning and a Question

Under the card are what it stands for, one question to think about, and two buttons: Book a Reading and Draw Again.

The section says the draw is just for fun, and that a real reading is a conversation with her about your questions.

Pull a Card on the Live Site

What It Does

On the site

  • A page each for readings, Reiki and coaching, with what to expect, the rates and how to book
  • A Classes page for her two monthly groups, linked to GVST's schedule for the dates
  • Booking by email, with each page saying what to put in the email
  • A photo of her own reading table on the readings page, not stock

How the site is put together

  • Deep green and violet from her tree logo, on a cream ground
  • The cards in Pull a Card are line drawings made for this site, not scans of a published deck
  • A share image, so a posted link shows the logo and a fan of the cards
